Welcome to the
United Church of Christ section. Pennsylvania Southeast is
one of 39 Conferences in the UCC. While each Conference and local
church is responsible for ministries of evangelism, justice, healing
and peacemaking in its own community, the UCC links each one to a
mission that extends around the world. We maintain partnerships with
churches in Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Middle East and
the Pacific. We support theological seminaries and colleges, as well
as health and human service institutions. We seek to be a witness
for racial and economic justice, and advocates for the rights of all
people. We honor
the beliefs and traditions of the Christian church through the ages,
but are open to new expressions of faith that may be responsive to
the times in which we live. As you learn more about Pennsylvania
Southeast Conference, I hope you will be inspired by the ministries
that take place throughout all the United Church of Christ.
