Conference Worship & Continuing Education

Every month a variety of worship and educational opportunities are offered for both clergy and lay members of our Conference. On the third Tuesday of each month, the Conference sponsors a Service of Word & Sacrament at the Church House chapel in Collegeville. These services are often followed by a continuing education seminar specifically helpful to pastors. Also, there is a brief service of morning prayer in the Church House chapel each Thursday. See the list below for upcoming worship and educational events.

 WORSHIP
Thu, May 15
In response to President Thomas' invitation for churches to engage in "Sacred Conversations" regarding race on Trinity Sunday, a special pre-Trinity Sunday service of Word and Sacrament will be held in the Church House Chapel on Thursday, May 15, beginning at 9:30 am. The service will be shaped by the lectionary texts for Trinity Sunday with Conference Minister Russ Mitman as the preacher. Following the service "Sacred Conversations" will take place, and participants will have the opportunity to be in dialogue around issues for Trinity Sunday and ways to implement "Sacred Conversations" in local congregations. All ministers and lay persons are invited to this special service and dialogue.
